Overview

Our Depersonalisation Disorder (DPD) Service is for people with persistent or recurrent episodes of detachment or unreality about themselves or the external world. DPD is relatively common with around 1-2% of the population having clinically significant symptoms. When chronic these experiences can be very distressing and accompanied by impaired functioning.

We have assessed over 500 people since the inception of our service and are one of the leading research and clinical treatment units for this condition in the world.
