Overview

We provide neuropsychological assessment and treatment to young people with neurological, medical, neurodevelopmental and psychiatric conditions, including:

  • Neurodevelopmental disorders (ADHD, autistic spectrum disorder or learning disabilities)
  • Acquired brain injury (epilepsy, stroke, traumatic brain injury, central nervous system infection, or brain tumor)
  • Medical conditions affecting central nervous system function (sickle cell, thalasaemia renal and liver disorders)
  • Psychiatric conditions (early onset psychosis and anorexia nervosa)
  • Memory, attention, or language problems that impair functioning, but for which the causes are unknown
  • Identification and description of cognitive abilities in preparation for neurosurgery, including post-surgical testing

Our treatment packages provide the young person and their family with a better understanding of the presenting problem, together with strategies that have been shown to improve cognitive, educational, emotional, behavioural and social difficulties.
