  • Borderline personality disorder that requires treatment in its own right
  • We take referrals for people with body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) who may be interested in psychological treatment or advice on medication. We do not carry out psychiatric or psychological assessments for people who are requesting a cosmetic procedure to be funded by their commissioner
  • We are unable to receive direct referrals from other South London and Maudsley services or from GPs registered within Lambeth, Southwark or Lewisham. These should be directed to the appropriate Talking Therapies Service (IAPT). More complex referrals should be directed to the community mental health teams with a view to onward referral to their local Integrated Psychological Therapies Team (IPTT). CADAT does form a small part of these services but all referrals must go to their single point of access to be triaged and for them to decide on the next best step
