Overview

National & Specialist CAMHS Anxiety & Traumatic Stress Clinic is a Tier-4 multi-disciplinary team working with young people and mental health practitioners across the UK and internationally. We assess and treat children and adolescents who experience severe and treatment-resistant post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and anxiety disorders. We provide second opinions on diagnosis and treatment of complex clinical presentations in traumatised young people. We deliver clinical training and offer clinical supervision to local teams and schools. We collaborate with the UK government and local commissioning groups to set up and manage public health initiatives related to disasters and emergencies. Clinical and training activities are informed by our research activities at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology, and Neuroscience, King’s College London.
